MEANS OF TRANSPORT

There is a good quality public transport system to easily travel around the city. There are copious bus lines (called “colectivos”) and a compound subway system linking the main neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires.
Public transport is inexpensive. You may also choose to take taxis or private cars called “remises”, both of them for economical fares.
Subways run from 5.00 am to 10 pm, while trains, taxis, remises and buses function all day long.

AIRPORTS

There are two airports in Buenos Aires:  Ezeiza International Airport (mostly for international flights) and Jorge Newbery City Airport (domestic flights).
Getting to the city downtown area from Ezeiza takes a 45 minute drive. To that aim you can take buses, taxis or remises, the cost of which is approximately AR$ 55.
The drive from Jorge Newbery City Airport to the city downtown lasts about 15 minutes.
